Thirteen Months!!!
Yesterday was Beau's 13mo birthday! He is walking more and more everyday. So I think I'll make this the official, You Walked the day you turned 13mos old Day. I'm so incredible thankful that he is healthy, thriving and developing right on track, but it pulls at my heart that he's growing so fast because he's my baby. I was explaining this to my Daddy and I could hear him smile in the phone and say, "I know Honey, that's exactly how it is and still is for me." Becoming a Mama is everything I hoped for and more but my greatest unexpected gift is that I have a whole new grasp of the Love my parents have for me, I just understand it so much more. I tell you both every time I hug you how much you mean to me. I am so blessed beyond words to have you as parents and to know your geniune love. I love you Mama and Daddy.
Beau's favorite thing is to look at, hold, take and or taste anything and everything that Mama has in her hands and says, "Ooo, whas dat?" I hope you get a good idea of why I play in the floor with my baby instead of clean my house. I think it's an acceptable excuse!

I think this trip to Destin has been the most uneventful and peaceful trip we've ever taken. Exactly what the Crews' needed. Simply to rest. The weather was better than it's ever been. We were able to sit outside the entire day (under the umbrella) without the horrible heat. Mike's skin bronzed beautifully and well me and my freckles ventured out a little too long, and mama got burnt. I just wanted to float on my floatie. On the beach I read a great book, Mike and I contemplated the guidelines to successfully wear a bikini, and we took naps. I'm taking deep breaths just thinking about it. I posted more pictures on facebook, go take a peek.

oh happy day
Ahahaaa Happy Anniversary to me, a happy anniversary to me, every day of the year, may we feel Jesus near, ah Happy Anniversary to me a happy Anniversary to me and may it be the best one we've Ever Had!!! (horse creek church version)
So right now SEVEN years ago I was in a hotel room with some of my most favorite people while my sister was taking hotrollers out of my hair.... getting ready to marry my Mikey. I can say I love him more today, I appreciate him more than yesterday and I'm so incredibly thankful to be married to a man who not only loves me and Beau, but loves Jesus more. I love you Michael.
To celebrate this joyous occassion, we proceeded to the gargage at 6:30 this morning to clean up three bags of trash that our new neighboors, the Skunk Family dined on last night. Apparently the Crews compound doubles as a wildlife vacation hot spot. I'm sure we're on a brochure somewhere where our ammedities include all you can eat trash and or garden buffet, le dipping spa, and midnight spotlight dodging (for the adventureous type). Seriously, we have a family of Skunks, with 5 babies and they pounce around so fluffy and cute... until this morning. Did I mention what I was doing at 6:30am?
Anyhoo, Mike and I are going to Destin Tomorrow Night! So we'll have a lovely anniversary sitting at Pampano Joe's eating coconut shrimp.

to blog or not to blog
I'm thinking blogging may be the way to keep everyone up to speed at the Crews Compound.
