Magic Words
These three magic words were gloriously spoken by my 21mo old son, "No Thank You." Sigh, sniff-sniff. I feel as proud as a graduation day! My Mama says, "Giving your child manners is one of the greatest and most important gifts." It is hard work, repetitive and frustrating for both parties, but after today I'd like to say I'm winning... and so is Beau.

Happy Hmm Hmmm...
Happy hmm hm.. To YOU!! This is Beau's version of the Happy Birthday song we tried so hard to teach him for this weekend. He is notorious for pulling funnies, but this is one of my favorites, he is truly my child, because I never know the words either!! He sang it all night last night too. He just nods his head and mumbles something during that difficult Birthday part.
Last Friday was Grandma's 83rd Birthday! Woo hoo! That's certainly reason to celebrate. So all 3.75 Crews hopped in the truck and hauled out of the woods to NLR. It was well worth the long trip because Beau was a great entertainer and source of sunshine for Grandma and Grandpa! I have the most precious video of Grandma playing basketball with Beau, however the phone is currently in Mountain Home and I have yet to figure out how to really use that part of my fancy schmancy phone. I'll get it loaded soon I hope. It'll make you tear up, so precious.
It was also one of my sweetest and dearest friend, Ashley's 30th Birthday!! This officially begins what I like to call "Birthday Season". All of our fabulous friends coincidentally have birthdays within weeks of each other starting now through early Summer. This year will be even more fabulous because we are all turning the big 20-10 and planning an official "30 Doesn't Suck Party" to be held sometime after baby girl gets here. I think we're going to hire some outstanding babysitters and hit the river. We always have So Much Fun together, I just can't wait. I'm gonna make t-shirts.

happy news!
I just have to post something to get that sad story of my baby bear being so sick behind us!!
Seven month check up went really well this past Friday! I'd like to give my kidney's, pancreas and whom ever else is in charge of processing sugar a big High Five for passing the glucose test. God knows we don't need additional Baker's with diabetes. BOO DIABETES. I was worried. Everything else is great, I feel ginormous and continue to have less choices for pants each morning, however I am apparently measuring right on schedule. I've been instructed by Mike to please refrain from wearing his new t-shirts. Apparently, there was a little incident with a new white t-shirt, and some under the belly blueberry juice that I didn't notice. heehee. Spray n'wash is my hero.
Otherwise, we have a new activity in our house performed by a certain little boy, whom shall remain nameless as I don't want to jinx anything.... using the Potty!! Are we anywhere near consistent? Absolutely not. Do we follow Mom in Every time to see what the fuss is all about? Certainly. Do we say, "Inna Potty Mama" and proceed to actually go in the potty? YES!! Not to over-share, but a certain little boy has gone #1 and #2 and loves to flush. (Yes, I understand how blessed I am) We are totally pumped and celebrate accordingly with a happy dance and yell as loud as possible for Daddy to come and dance too!! Then we all wave bye-bye while flushing. I learned the hard way both of my cameras' batteries need to be charged, but I will post an appropriate photo of someone sitting on the big potty because it's just almost screen saver cute.
