Lauren says, "I forscott" for forgot.
We call York Peppermint Patties, Pattie Mints. Which is "a zert", or dessert.
When we use the restroom, we need "pivacy".
When his teacher asked him where his Mama worked, he replied, "She doesn't milk cows, but works on a farm and there's a lot of paperwork."
Lauren has a serious affection for "yip goss", my lip gloss for which she secretly pilfers through my things, and bubble gum. The girl and her bubble gum.
Beau popped a wheelie on Papa's 4wheeler with Daddy, landed it and smashed his face. One of his (next to the front tooth) teeth busted his lip open and was pushed back out of place. I enrolled them in dental insurance.
The password (for anything) is always, "Beau is awesome".
Beau has started trick riding stunts on his bouncy horse in his room. He can stand on the saddle without holding on. Thank you Trixie Chicks (the trick riding exhibit team at MSU).
Lauren and I prefer to skip wherever we go, holding hands.
I can't forget our Fravorites. We have so many fravorites.
They still need to rock and I hope they will always crawl up in my lap.

Highlights
Memories of July:
The Party Barge headed to Norfork lake for the first of many, many more weekends together on a pontoon boat. We had the best time dodging a thunderstorm, teaching people how to tube, picnicking on sandbars and watching Beau jump with no fear from the top deck. It also happened to be our 11th wedding anniversary. Love Him. Even More.
Memories of August: We sent BOTH of the Littles to Preschool at Ridgekids. It was a last minute HUGE answer to prayer to enroll them all five days. Beau is in room 10 with Miss Michelle and Miss Angela. Lauren is in room 9 with Miss Gretchen and Miss Michelle. These precious ladies along with the rest of the Ridgekids crew are amazing women, genuinely loving these children, filling their little hearts with the promises of God. Beau and Lauren are growing by leaps and bounds academically, spiritually and physically. Best decision we've made for them and their future. Love Ridgekids.
This summer I spent a lot of time working the local and state fairs, while Mike was in the basketball gym. We are truly blessed with great jobs, coworkers and opportunities to witness to youth.
September: GYMNASTICS!! We get our flips on at a local gym once a week, Dynamic Gymnastics. I'm hopeful my sometimes uncoordinated doesn't interfere terribly with Daddy, Aunt Melodee and Aunt Jenny's balance, grace, and natural talent. We have a good time burning up extra toddler energy.
And this happened:
Beau's playing outside. I see him looking up at the sky. I heard him say, "Hey God, where are you? I gotta tell you something. Can you come here?" He asked me to come outside and help him look for God. I told Beau God can hear him wherever and whenever he calls. Sure Enough as I'm breathing, I look up and there's a cloud shaped just like a giant God sized footprint right above us. We both saw it. I needed to see that footprint too. I believe in God. I believe in miracles. I believe He will sell that house.
We continue to wait on the sale of our Hartville house. We remain Faithful God is in control and has the most amazing plan EVER for this situation. I CANNOT wait to throw a Praise God Party when it all comes together. I found paper plates online that actually say, Praise God. Getting them.
Memories of October:
Lots of football Willard HS home football and soccer games, hanging out with our hard working, willing to take extra work, committed to getting debt free Daddy. He is good.
We celebrated all things Fall with pumpkins, parties and caramel apples!
They were grumpy pirates for Halloween.
November:
Annual Party Barge at CofO Homecoming weekend, followed up with a day hike at Lost Valley. Lets just say it wasn't disappointing...
Thanksgiving was me, Mama, Jenny, Lauren and the occasional Beau all in the kitchen putting dinner together. Perfect. Lauren and Beau learned how to peel potatoes this month. They are also learning to roll pie crust. It is a top priority of mine to get these kids in the kitchen. Yes, it adds mess, it adds necessary patience. I'm not always great, but I give an effort. Me and my Mama also spent a lot of time this fall canning apples into butter and pie filling! It was so fun. We have to get a serious garden going somewhere. We are pleasantly surprised that we don't fail terribly at canning! Ha!! Bring on the tomatoes.
Which brings us to December... whew.
Such tremendous blessings. I choose to be thankful daily.
