Four!

Helllooo Four!! Four Years Old, we are so happy to welcome you to our family!
We experienced the Terrible Threes a time or three and well, we're looking forward to fabulous four. We've already begun to see our lovable little Beau Bear more and more these days. WOoooHOOOooo!!!

Mr Beau is just the most handsome brown-eyed little man I've ever seen. His big eyes are so sparkly and his whole sturdy little body lights up with excitement. Beau is JOY. He is passionate, personable and caring. He is a performer and loves putting on a show whether he's telling a story, singing a song he made up, raising one eyebrow, or standing on one foot.
PS. He has some adoring fans.

Beau's favorite things are books, cars and trains, swimming, riding his bike, making plans, talking, coloring, riding Papa's 4 wheeler, drums and stickers. He is slowly creeping out of Crazy Picky Eater Beau. He will now eat two bites of veggies on his plate; thanks to his Daddy being as hard-headed as he is. Making progress! He loves strawberries, raisins, hamburgers, salmon, pasta, Honey Nut Cheerios, breakfast food, nuts, plain yogurt, protein smoothies, cheese, and I couldn't make a list of sweets he loves, because he hasn't met one he doesn't like.

Beau makes us laugh. He is beginning to read simple words, has a ton of things memorized and comments on memories from when he was two. He is inquisitive. He is an observer and commentator. Some days we say, Hey Beau you should give your mouth a rest. To which he replies, Oh, no thanks. It's not tired.

Beau's recent list of friends; Micah, Anna, Luke and Natalee, Will and Hudson. He Loves spending time with kids and isn't a happy camper when we need to head home. At church he goes to Sunday School and Preschool Praise. We usually get a full report as to what went down during craft time. His teachers call him Beau Gorgeous and tell us he's great.

Beau is just like soda pop - fun, sugary sweet, full of bubbly giggles and ready to explode when something gets shaken up! We all adore you sweet child.
Happy Birthday Beau Bear.
Here's to a Fabulous Four!!

Two!

It's true. Sweet Baby Girl turned TWO. She spent her birthday in a tutu and told each person she met, "I'm two!" I'm rejoicing in the Lord for this precious two year old. It wasn't too long along she was our inconsolable-tummy-trouble-hurting-aching-colicy infant. She had the Can't Help Its. Now she can't help but be adorable. We are so thankful the Good Lord healed her and now those smiles, squeals and giggles are sweet music to our ears.

Lauren is still measuring in PETiTE for her age, has most of her teeth and too many cowlicks on her head to count! She talks ninety to nothin' and 73% of the time I understand what she's saying. She says certain words so sweet; strawberry, jellybean, comemere Mommy, Hold on - I be right back, Yook (look) Mommy, Yook Daddy - watch dis! Ok, uets go! Ont somemore peas (I want some more please), I uve (love) you.

Her favorite things are books, shoes, babies, playing in the water, helping Mommy get ready in the morning, brush her teeth, and to be tickled. She's ready for bed by 8:30 and wakes up early. She also loves to color, put objects in her mouth and escape out the front door. We are singing ABC's and 123's - she can do them pretty well for her age. She seems to be right handed and is really taking an interest in this using-the-potty business. She has manners and says; please, thank you, squooze you, and bess you.

This baby loves to EAT! She's an awesome eater and will eat or at least try anything you put in front of her. Her favorites seem to be; eggs and toast, almonds, yogurt with cereal on top, ham chunks, garlic triscuits, strawberries, peas, goldfish. She loves sweets too, especially ice cream and choc-it (chocolate).

All of us adore this little ray of sunshine be-bopping around and holding her own around all these boys! She really is no-nonsense when it comes to things going her way in her dealings with brother Beau. She has an outstanding set of lungs and isn't afraid to use them. She gets in trouble for The Scream, throwing things off her tray table at dinner, and deliberately disobeying after flashing that grin. Beau and Lauren squabble like North v. South some days and then just tonight they were yelling back and forth down the hallway, "I love you" until they were both in their beds. End of the day, they adore each other. When we have one of them and not both, they are asking about the other. That is awesome. A breakthrough moment occurred this evening while playing trains together, "Mommy, its Beau's turn" and all the angels sang HALLELUJAH.

Happy Birthday Sweet Lauren Baker Crews.
Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know.
