Get to Posting Please!!

...some instructions handed down to me from a VIP! Here's the dealeo on the blogging yo... my cord to load photos from the camera to computer is in Wright county. I think. Mike and I purchased a new fancy schmancy techno gadget. I'm looking forward to being able to spend more time bloggity blogging in the pm, but I haven't had time to play with said gadget. So, the photos on the sidebar aren't the newest, some are from my cellphone to boot. Like I said, looking forward to getting organized. Wait, I didn't say that yet. Looking forward to organizing my thoughts as well.

The house isn't sold. Living in Springtown is beyond fabulous. I've signed up for fitness classes, spent time with long lost friends and got an awesome purse at the Clothes Mentor for $7. We ordered pizza delivery again, which blew Bear's mind. He was like, "Mom, who is that? Why is he have our pizza? Whats happening?!" SO FUNNY. We set up an account at the video store. I had so many movies in my hand, someone asked me if I worked there. It's been a while sent we've seen a movie. BTW, I LOVE Tangled!! I watched it 3 times in my 5 day rental allotment. I get to hang out with my sister, play with rocks, buckets and water. My Rockstar Hubs spent SIX HOURS cleaning my truck inside and out de-dirt roading it. It looks amazing. We played in the rain in our underwear, well beau did.. Speaking of underwear, someone has gone two days with no potty accidents {insert Hallelujah Praise Jesus dance} fingers crossed for additional success. I am loving life.

Confetti

My life is Tossed in Mid-Air Confetti right now. I love confetti. I don't love confetti. It is festive and beautiful, colorful, sparkly and denotes a celebration. It is a mess, it can get stuck in your eye, eventually it falls on the ground. It is random and unorganized and easily influenced by the surroundings. It can destroy a vacuum and you can go crazy if you try to pick up every piece by hand. I'm doing my best to recognize the celebration and not focus on picking up each piece out of shag carpet!

We are officially in Springtown. We officially took over the top floor of my sweet Mama's home. I'm officially not accustomed to going up and down stairs regularly. I now have stairs everywhere I go. Three sets at work. I'm officially looking forward to minimizing these thunder thighs. In fact, I signed up to take some sort of fitness class (they alternate) each day at lunch, for Free!! Whoop whoop. I might die at first but certainly looking forward to getting this baby weight OFF.

In my confetti state of mind there is randomness. Random thoughts:

I lost my debit card while in Branson this past weekend. Walmart Supercenter found it and kept it safe! PTL.

I hosed beau off outside the last time he pooed in the Thomas underoos. Cruel? Perhaps. But he hasn't had another accident. So far. I'm horrible with potty training.

I tried to order pizza delivery last night because I live in the big city now. They accidentally rerouted my mushroom/Canadian bacon to Tulsa. So that means I got free pizza!! 1hr and 40mins later, but free pizza.

I want to own a cabin at the lake and drive a golf cart around wearing a sun visor and wave to my neighbors.

I talked to the Realtor today and there have been zero calls on our house. Four of the eight landscaping bushes have been totally defoliated by a bag-worm hatch/infestation in the front yard. Looks horrible.

I get to go to a wedding this weekend and eat cake. One of my favorite things in this world is wedding cake. It is delicious (usually) and denotes a fabulous celebration (usually) just like confetti (usually).

One Two THREE Look at Me!

Can it be? Beau Bear is Three?!

I've been told by numerous wise souls I will turn around and he will 14, 22... 31. I certainly believe it. Although some days are long, the time whooshes by whether I want it to or not. But you know what else a wise friend once told me? We were talking about her boy going off to school and I asked if she was sad? She said, "Oh absolutely not. I have a close friend who lost their little boy in an accident. She doesn't get to see him off to Kindergarten, or learn to drive a car or get married. My attitude has completely changed and I thank God for all the milestones we experience because it means my child is with me and thriving and healthy." Wow. That conversation has had a profound impact on me. I think about it often and I find myself striving to rejoice in the milestones instead of boohooing. Living in the moment when messes are being made and digging deeper to find patience.
Beau is only three once.

At three, Beau is going on ten. He is bright for his age. He is capable of conversations with adults and kids about things that make sense, how things work and silly stories from his head. He has common sense. He is very imaginative. His favorite toys are cars/trucks/trains, balls and a bat, water, books. He has an organization to him, always putting his cars in lines and such, he doesn't get upset when things aren't just so, but he has a place for everything which I noticed when he started walking. I'd find socks and diapers in the kitchen cabinets! The I'm-not-going-to-eat-anything-good-for-me phase is slowing fading. "Beans make me fun fast Mommy." Potty training is a marathon project and that's all I'll say about that. Beau is funny, an entertainer for sure. When he's in the spotlight and doesn't know what to do or say, he makes his Wookie noise. That's what I named it anyway... its a growly type thing that comes from his nose and back throat. He is caring and aware of emotions. "My feelings feel bad Mommy." He hears and sees much more than I realize, repeating information from the radio and TV. He loves to sing, brush his teeth, jump off of things, play guitar, help Mommy and Daddy and strawberries. He LOVES his sister and she LOVES him - one of my greatness blessings. He doesn't like hot water in his bath, green beans, or staying still and quite for any length of time. Beau is beginning to state his own thoughts and opinions and I LOVE to see inside his mind.
"Mommy, you are my friend and I really like you."
Beau, I really like you too and I really like being your friend. Oh, and I love you more than you know.
ox Mommy

Three Cheers for Beau!

Its a long tradition to wake up to a birthday surprise! Gifts from Mommy and Daddy and cake for breakfast. Happy Birthday Beau Bear!!

This year we went to the park in Mountain Grove to have our party with Joy's House friends and family.
SO MUCH FUN. SO HOT. SO WORTH IT.
