Two!

It's true. Sweet Baby Girl turned TWO. She spent her birthday in a tutu and told each person she met, "I'm two!" I'm rejoicing in the Lord for this precious two year old. It wasn't too long along she was our inconsolable-tummy-trouble-hurting-aching-colicy infant. She had the Can't Help Its. Now she can't help but be adorable. We are so thankful the Good Lord healed her and now those smiles, squeals and giggles are sweet music to our ears.

Lauren is still measuring in PETiTE for her age, has most of her teeth and too many cowlicks on her head to count! She talks ninety to nothin' and 73% of the time I understand what she's saying. She says certain words so sweet; strawberry, jellybean, comemere Mommy, Hold on - I be right back, Yook (look) Mommy, Yook Daddy - watch dis! Ok, uets go! Ont somemore peas (I want some more please), I uve (love) you.

Her favorite things are books, shoes, babies, playing in the water, helping Mommy get ready in the morning, brush her teeth, and to be tickled. She's ready for bed by 8:30 and wakes up early. She also loves to color, put objects in her mouth and escape out the front door. We are singing ABC's and 123's - she can do them pretty well for her age. She seems to be right handed and is really taking an interest in this using-the-potty business. She has manners and says; please, thank you, squooze you, and bess you.

This baby loves to EAT! She's an awesome eater and will eat or at least try anything you put in front of her. Her favorites seem to be; eggs and toast, almonds, yogurt with cereal on top, ham chunks, garlic triscuits, strawberries, peas, goldfish. She loves sweets too, especially ice cream and choc-it (chocolate).

All of us adore this little ray of sunshine be-bopping around and holding her own around all these boys! She really is no-nonsense when it comes to things going her way in her dealings with brother Beau. She has an outstanding set of lungs and isn't afraid to use them. She gets in trouble for The Scream, throwing things off her tray table at dinner, and deliberately disobeying after flashing that grin. Beau and Lauren squabble like North v. South some days and then just tonight they were yelling back and forth down the hallway, "I love you" until they were both in their beds. End of the day, they adore each other. When we have one of them and not both, they are asking about the other. That is awesome. A breakthrough moment occurred this evening while playing trains together, "Mommy, its Beau's turn" and all the angels sang HALLELUJAH.

Happy Birthday Sweet Lauren Baker Crews.
Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know.
